How your trailer can get stolen, even when you have a tongue lock installed!
On March 4th, 2021 my RV Trailer was STOLEN from Extra Space Storage in Fort Worth Texas! Right under the cameras, in a protected lot even though I had a Tongue Lock on it! This video is a short snippet from a more in-depth video I am almost finished with. But with all the repost of RVs begin stolen, I thought it extremely important to at least show people how my TT was stolen so that you can learn from what I learned!

What I liked

- Powder coating does chip
- A bit expensive, but it is the best protection!
Thanks so much for this video. Many years ago we had our travel trailer stolen from a friends warehouse parking lot. It’s definitely not something that I would wish for anyone else. Anything we can do to make it harder for the thieves the better!
PS – We also had a lock on the tongue! And the trailer was in a well lit, patrolled area! Go figure. I guess if the thieves want it bad enough they’ll figure it out. ☹️
I think I will just put mine up on blocks, and take the wheels home with me.
