Cooking at the Barn: Episode 1

Elevate dehydrated meals with this simple technique.

Cooking meals while camping isn't as hard as it sounds. Keep in mind you don't need to make elaborate meals; you can keep it simple. You don't have to cook over a campfire; instead, you may choose to cook with a grill, which runs on propane gas or small backpacking style burners running canned gas. It's all up to you. If you are new to camping or just bored of the same old hot dogs and love cooking outdoors, then I will show you some tips & tricks to elevate simple meals and foods; I'll make cooking easier, teach you how to control the flame, and heat on these small cook-sets. I'll show you how to elevate pre-prepped meals, and bring/store fresh meats and veggies. Some people choose to take a portable BBQ with them and BBQ all their meals, but sometimes that's just not possible. Some people may think all you eat while camping is sandwiches, but this couldn't be further from the truth. You can make just about anything you'd make a home right at the campsite, weather backpacking, kayak camping, or camping out of your vehicle!
